 Forest certification
Bob Simpson is senior vice-president of the American Forest Foundation
and vice-chairman of the Program for the Endorsement of Forest
Certification (PEFC) board of directors. He clarified some of the
available forest certification options which can be a confusing jumble
of acronyms.
In a video interview he talks about PEFC, its value to
small forest owners, and the potential for a green premium for
certified products.

 Trees are the answer
When the question is how do we make not only business but life on our
planet better, the answer, according to Patrick Moore, is use more wood
and plant more trees. That was the key message of his B2G presentation.
Moore was an environmental activist with Greenpeace in its early days
and is currently a leading advocate of sustainable forestry in his
capacity as chairman and chief scientist of Vancouver-based Greenspirit
Strategies.
