The horizontal infeed is designed to handle long material including pallets, slabs, edgings, veneer and panel trim and reduces space requirements as there is no need for inclined conveyors or infeed chutes.
 Wood hogEZ Access wood/bark hogs from Jeffrey Specialty Equipment are available in vertical and horizontal models. The models are designed with capacities of 220 tons per hour. They are the latest addition to the line of wood and bark hogs, vibrating equipment, crushers, solid waste shredders, and chip sizers.
 Mill hogThe Grizzly Mill Hog from Brunette Industries has a heavy-duty, solid-steel, offset helix rotor that shares material from two directions against an anvil and grate, preventing it from over-loading one side of the hog. The rotor design allows it to process cedar bark, green spruce bark, all kinds of mill wood waste, demolition debris, butt ends, railroad ties and stringy bark. The final product is suitable for hog fuel or mulch.
